HPARD’s website. Search for Halbert Park. There is a small fee depending on how many people you are expecting.Can I have a birthday party or a bounce house?
Yes. The blue-roofed pavilion may be rented via the reservation system through HPARD (Houston Parks and Recreation Department).

Bounce houses are allowed and there are two plugs near the basketball courts. However, the city requires you (or the company you rent from) to have insurance.What events are coming up?

Trash pickup is every Thursday, and Recycling is every other Thursday.
Heavy trash and yard waste, as of late-2025/early-2026, is running several weeks behind.
